The central mountains of Sri Lanka boast some of the most beautiful landscapes on Earth. It is also was the last bastion of Sri Lankan Kings due to its unforgiving terrain. Horton Plains and World’s End

Horton plains is a must hike spot if your nearby in Haputale or Ella. The drive there is picturesque with open plains and grasslands boarding both sides of the road. The hike itself is 16km long circling back close to the entrance. On the way you will another small but beautiful  waterfall named Baker’s Waterfall, and about halfway through the hike you arrive at Little Worlds End and World’s End.

Pidurangala, Sirigiya

Pidurangala has recently gained the love and affection which was reserved for sigiriya. Many tourist and locals now  flock to this flat rock to get their one-in-a-million view of Sigiriya, standing majestically in the landscape.
